Joe Wiz Pick of the Day: Oakland looks to keep within striking distance in AL West

They always say "Nobody beats the Wiz!"

So far, that has been the case with my Bettors Insider Pick of the Day. Tampa Bay kept rolling (as the Rays do when they are hot) to a 7-1 win last night.

I will stay in the American League today, with an afternoon matchup between suddenly slumping Oakland (3-7 last 10) at Texas.

While the Rangers are above .500 (23-22) at home, Oakland is the much better team, and has one of the better road records (23-18) in the league.
