Monday MLB Strikeout Props: Krothers picks Wade Miley, Freddy Peralta, Trevor Bauer

Had my first losing day (1-2) in a long-time last night and it doesn’t feel good. Serves me right for picking all aces and overs. Gonna mix things up a bit today.

On to the strikeout picks…

Phillies @ Reds, 6:40 pm ET

The Reds Wade Miley starts against the Phightin’ Phils today and I don’t think he’ll have great success. This Phillies team has many issues, but they line up well against Miley and my projection engine™ has him getting a max of 4 K’s today. You can get a good line on the under here at BetRivers – under 4.5 at +105 – so that’s my first pick-o-the-day.

Cubs @ Brewers, 8:10 pm ET

I expect the Brewers’ Freddy Peralta to be the strikeout king of the day – he had 10 K his last outing against the Dbacks and I think he might even fair better tonight. You can get +118 on FanDuel picking the over 8.5 and that’s what I’m doing.

Giants @ Dodgers, 1:10 pm ET

Trevor Bauer, my favorite Dodgers pitcher this year, takes the bump tonight. As I’ve mentioned before, he’s another guy on my FBB lineup who I lean on for strikeouts. He struggles in his last outing giving up 3 HR to the Padres over 6 innings, but he still got 10 strikeouts – so I’ll forgive him. Against the Giants I expect him to get 8-9 strikeouts, so I’ll take the over 7.5 K and -125 fromBarstool Sportsbook.
