Wednesday MLB Strikeout Props: Krothers picks Garrett Richards, James Kaprielian, Trevor Bauer

Well, the stickyball saga has finally taken a hilarious turn as we’re seeing pitchers stripping on the field for the umps…

Given the number of pitchers doing this I assume it’s a deliberate coordinated event, but you know someone is going to have something like a GI Joe action figure in there fall out as a prank – at least I hope so.

Going back to mixing up the overs and unders for now – let’s see how this goes…

Red Sox @ Rays, 7:10 pm ET

First we start with an under! Looking at Boston’s Garrett Richards against this Rays lineup, I don’t project him to go more than 5 innings and maybe hit 5 strikeouts tops. I’ll take the under 5.5 and -140 from FanDuel – let me know if you can find better.

Athletics @ Rangers, 8:05 pm ET

For this game I’m analyzing the A’s James Kaprielian and this pick might be a squeaker. The algo has rightly set the over/under line at 6.5 and that is right in line with my projections. I’m not putting big bucks on this, but I’ll take the over 6.5 and +112 from Barstool Sportsbook.

Dodgers @ Padres, 10:00 pm ET

Gotta look at the Dodgers’ Trevor Bauer here. As I’ve mentioned before, I always bet on him because I also have him on my Fantasy Baseball team and I try to hedge my bets. Again it looks like I’m aligned with the algos here as the line is set at 7.5. I’m going to go against my recent under-picks and make this an over. I’ll put my money on over 7.5 and +110 at BetMGM.
