Friday MLB Strikeout Props: Krothers picks Jose Berrios, Luis Garcia, Corbin Burnes

Maybe I should have stuck with my ‘under-drum’ yesterday as I had my first losing day in quite a while, going 1-2. Ah well, All things must pass…

Twins @ Rangers, 8:05 pm ET

Ok – let’s kick-off this under-drum party and take a look at the Twins’ Jose Berrios. He’s got 81 K in 77.1 innings, has been averaging 7-8 strikeouts a game – prime candidate for a decrease! The line is set at 6.5 and I’ll take the under at -135 from Wind Creek.

White Sox @ Astros, 8:10 pm ET

Next up we have a pretty good matchup between the Astros’ Luis Garcia and Chicago’s Carlos Rodon. Full disclosure, I have Garcia on my FBB team, so I’m rooting for him to win and strike out many. That said, he’s another candidate for the under. FanDuel has the line set at 7.5 and I’ll take the under and -148.

Brewers @ Rockies, 8:40 pm ET

This one I’m going to credit to eagle-eye reader SpeedDemon @Redevolution06

With that in mind, it’s easy to look at Brewer Corbin Burnes and project ~6-7K – which is tight, but I’m going with it. I’ll take the under 7.5 at -110 from the folks at BetMGM.
