Tuesday MLB Strikeout Prop Bets: Krothers picks Charlie Morton, Zack Wheeler, Hyun Jin Ryu
Charlie Morton is pitching tonight. As many of you know, he is my white whale and I have yet to catch him. Will I tonight? Let’s find out.
Braves @ Yankees, 6:35 pm ET
Might as well get this out of the way. Charlie Morton, currently clocking in at 21K over 17 innings, is facing the Yankees who are striking out at a terrible clip. The over under is set at 6.5 and … I’m taking the over at +100. Will I regret it? Likely…
Giants @ Phillies, 7:05 pm ET
Time for another week of ZACK ATTACK! Zack Wheeler has lost his past two starts and has given up more hits than he usually does, but he is still striking people out at a good rate. I think he turns things around and goes 7 innings and easily goes over the projected 6.5 K line – looks like you can find a -113 for it.
Blue Jays @ Red Sox, 7:10 pm ET
Hyun Jin Ryu is a pretty reliable K/inning pitcher at this point in his career – so the line being set at 4.5 makes me think the bookmakers don’t see him lasting 5 or more, but I do! I’m going to take the over 4.5 and +130.
