MLB Tuesday: Albert’s Quick Pitches w/mustard - Rays v Royals, Padres v Braves, Astros v Twins, and Tigers v Phillies on Dollar Dog Night!

Favorite Pick of the Day:
Rays (-175) over ROYALS

Big Underdog of the Day
Tigers (+185) over PHILLIES

Pick’em of the Day:
BRAVES (-110) over Padres

If You Must:
Astros (-172) over TWINS

The Skinny:
Blake Snell
is great, and so are the Rays so far this year. After giving up five runs yesterday but still getting the win, count on a lower scoring game today. And don’t overlook that the Rays are 9-1 in Snell’s last 10 starts after allowing five runs or more in their previous game. . . . This isn’t just because it’s dollar dog night at Citizens Bank Park, either. Despite Vince Velazquez being lights out this year, there is value in the Tigers, who are 6-1 in the last seven meetings with the Phillies. . . . Two very evenly-matched teams will do battle in Atlanta, but the trends point to the home team having a slight edge. The Braves are 4-1 in Julio Teheran’s last five starts vs. Padres and are also 4-1 in his last five home starts against San Diego. . . . The value isn’t great, but that’s because the Astros are as close to a lock as they come tonight. With Gerrit Cole on the mound, the Astros are 4-0 in their last four Tuesday games. They are also 4-1 in Cole’s last five starts vs. American League Central.
