MLB Monday: Albert’s Quick Pitch Picks - Phillies v Mets, Cardinals v Brewers, Red Sox v Orioles, & Indians v Mariners

Favorite Pick of the Day:
PHILLIES (-120) over Mets

Low-Risk, High Reward
Cardinals (+115) over BREWERS

Same Overall Record Pick of the Day:
RED SOX (-260) over Orioles

If You Must:
Indians (-115) over MARINERS

The Skinny:
The Phillies’ hot start has cooled off as of late, while the Mets have been one of the more surprising teams in baseball. But Monday will belong to the Phillies, if trends hold true. The Phillies are 5-0 in their last five during Game 1 of a series, 5-0 in Aaron Nola’s last five starts vs. the Mets and 4-1 in their last five home games vs. a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600. That should be enough to convince you, despite Noah Syndergaard on the mound for the Mets. . . . Despite being 1-7 in their last eight against the Brewers, the Cardinals are my play for tonight. They are 4-1 in their last five Monday games. . . . Who would have thought the Red Sox and the Orioles would have the same record after Opening Day? The price is tough, but the Red Sox are 9-2 in their last 11 Monday games, and we have to regress back to the mean at some point, right? . . . The Indians are 6-0 in their last six games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15, which seems crazy, but it’s true. Also, the Indians are 6-1 in Trevor Bauer’s last seven starts following a team loss in their previous game.
