MLB Thursday: Albert’s Quick Pitch Picks - Nationals v Mets, Royals v Tigers, Yankees v Orioles, and Cubs v Braves

Favorite Pick of the Day:
METS (-130) over Nationals

Matinee of the Day
Royals (-114) over TIGERS

Low-Risk, High Reward
ORIOLES (+135) over Yankees

If You Must:
Cubs (-105) over BRAVES

The Skinny:
Betting baseball isn’t for the faint of heart, there’s lots of ups and downs. Let’s get to the ups. The Mets are 7-1 in Noah Syndergaard’s last eight home starts, while the Nationals are 1-7 in their last eight during Game 1 of a series. Seems like a recipe for cash before the workday is up. . . . The other early afternoon game is a good one, too. The Royals are 5-1 in Jakob Junis' last six starts against the Tigers. . . . The Orioles have had the Yankees’ number this year, but then again, who hasn’t. Might as well ride the Baltimore boat, if you will, until it crashes. . . . The Cubs have also not played well this year, bu Yu Darvish on the mound could turn that around. The Cubs are 4-0 in their last four games after losing the first two games of a series. Getting them at -105 with Darvish on the mound is always a treat (when it works out).
