God's Tipster's Sunday New Year's Eve Aqueduct Pick: The 8th is the Queen's County, and you've been Forewarned

Saturday’s Race Recap from Gulfstream:

Race 1: 6th@ 11.30/1

Race 5: 5th@ 16.80/1

Race 10: 6th@ 11.60/1

In Race 1, Princetown raced mid-pack throughout never really contending. In The Rampart, Dreaming of Snow shot to the front and gave her backers a thrill as she led til mid-stretch then she was overhauled by the favorite and faded late. In Race 10, Dubyuhnell raced just off the pace towards the inside and kept on without threatening late.

I’ll close out my tenure as US Racing Expert with a December 31 card from our most profitable circuit over the last few years, Aqueduct, where I’ll be handicapping for fast conditions. Let’s get right to it!

Aqueduct:

Race 8: Forewarned - 5 pts win (US Morning Line Odds: 12/1)

The Queens County is the final feature race of 2023 and it features a pretty evenly matched group of runners that includes the improving Signator who was a scratch from yesterday’s Grade 3 Harlan’s Holiday to run here today. Signator had been prepping in south Florida but ships here for an easier spot and I think it’s a sign of weakness that he ducked that competition after doing all his training there. There’s not a ton of pace, but the runners who normally show early speed may end up battling it out early so I’m going with Forewarned to upset the day once again. He won this race in 2021 at 42/1 odds and while I don’t think he’ll be quite that high today, he’s still likely to be close to his 12/1 morning line. His three wins at today’s distance are more than anyone else has and he’ll be moving best late.
