God's Tipster's Wednesday Delaware Park Pick: The 8th, for low-level maiden claimers, has clear class-dropper

Good morning racing fans. We’re back for OPENING week from Saratoga!!!!

But before Saratoga opens Thursday, we’ll take a gander at some races from Delaware Park. I keep saying they’re going to be fast and firm and I’ve been wrong more than I’ve been right but with no rain in the forecast this week I’m keeping optimistic we’ll be fast and firm.

Delaware Park:

Race 8: Honeycamp - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 3/2)

Never too proud to close the day with a pair of 3/2 shots where I feel there might actually be value in those odds. These are bottom-level maiden claimers and HoneyCamp drops to a career low class level. It looks like she’ll control the early tempo today and if she can get away, I’m not seeing many who can run her down. The winner of her start two back and the place runner last out both returned to win their next start. Looking to head into Saratoga season riding a winning wave!
