God's Tipster's Friday Gulfstream Park Pick: The 9th is a 7-furlong sprint for low-level claimers

Race 1: 4th@ 3.90/1

Race 4: 2nd@ 2.20/1

Race 9: SCRATCH

Our day began with the turf races being moved to polytrack despite the fact that there was no rain. In race 1, Sing Scat was in race early but was never able to throw the knockout punch eventually finishing fourth. In Race 4, Breezy Connection had the early speed to have out-hoofed these early but was instead taken back while HeirAstray was sent. That one was able to build a sizable lead while Breezy Connection closed for second but had too much to do.

We’ll continue moving ahead with Friday’s races from Gulfstream Park. Fast and firm conditions are expected. Let’s get to the action!

Friday at Gulfstream Park:

Race 9: Heiressindy - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 10/1)

Fillies and mares on the lower rung of the claiming ladder fight it out at 7 furlongs and Heiressindy should offer some value here off a 10/1 morning line. Trainer Terri Pompay won big on Thursday with a runner for the My Purple Haze Stables. Five workouts since her last start which was her first start off a four month layoff and she sheds 8lbs as she has an apprentice riding. Two wins over the surface and she should be moving late.
