Thursday’s Race Recap from Delaware Park:
(All odds US)
Replays for yesterday’s races from Delaware Park can be found here:
Race 5: SCRATCH
Race 7: 3rd@ 0.80/1
We were taken off the turf once again on Thursday at Delaware and that led to a scratch in Race 5. In Race 7, our turf marathon became a dirt marathon and scratched down to five runners. Alex Joon stalked the early pace and took his shot on the far turn before fading to third.
We are headed back to Delaware Park for Friday’s races where (hopefully) fast and firm conditions are expected beneath partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Let’s have some fun!
Friday at Delaware Park:
Race 6: Ekati’s Verve - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 6/1)
Claimers race a mile on the main track in Race 6. In this field of 7 runners we have 6 who like to hear their hooves rattle on the front end and one who prefers to come from off the pace. That one is Ekati’s Verve who races for solid connections that have won 24% of the time they’ve teamed up this meet. Last time out Ekati’s Verve was in the midst of his rally when he was cut-off and lost all momentum. He re-rallied and almost won the race anyway. Big factor with a clean trip at overlaid odds of 6/1.
Wishing our members the very best of luck playing Friday’s races from Delaware Park!
