6-Misty Mauve (8/5) scored an 86/68 Equibase number in her debut last out and cuts back in distance by a half furlong. Often, debut horses who score a number much larger than the par of their race, come back to a poor effort. Given the level of competition in this race, the analytics are moot with one exception, 2-Eighty Eight Keys (8/1) who has yet to run her best race. She was steadied at the start in her last, The $100K Parx Futurity, and had no hope after that. Her workouts have been far better than the rest of the field and if she puts a race together, will be a nice score.

Taking a crapshoot on an mcl msw entry, which is 7/31 per our database. The good news is 5-Mischievous Jones (9/2) is moving from open company to state breds. The bad news is his debut race was poor. This Smarty Jones/Into Mischief colt gets a big lift in jockey with Frankie Pennington.
