PGA Fans welcome back to event #2 of the 2025 calendar. Let's have a better performance than the last article where we saw 3 of our golfers fade over the weekend!

Last season we hit 57% of our wagers, returning 17% ROI and 13%/units on minimal volume! Let’s pick it up this weekend and get on a roll! We stay in Hawaii for another event with spectacular views!

The Course

Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii is a Par 70 course with a length of 7.044 yards. The tour has been making its rounds on this course since 1995, and a ton of players are familiar with it.

This course is a ball-striking and putters paradise. If you can go low in scoring and putt well, you have a great chance to score well. The course offers a couple par 5’s which will become a talking point later in the week. Players that score well on the par 5s should have good finishing positions.

I targeted players this week that are accurate with the driver, leaving themselves good angles to these greens. The 1st key to this course is hitting the green with proximity, and 2nd, hitting those putts to go low. Course history of course always comes into play!

100+ Player Field & Early Season

With the large field this week, and it being early on in the 2025 season, I am not going to try to widdle it down to my top 3 plays this week. Instead, I found 6 plays I really loved, followed by a couple + money looks that I love to make the cut and should give us a good shot to finish!

J.T. Poston let us down last week, but he has a fantastic chance to right that this week. Poston has finishes of 6, T21 and T42, his last 3 events here, improving each year. His last 2 events here he gained strokes in every metric, gaining 14 strokes on the field the last 2 years!

Keegan Bradley fits this course very well, especially if his putter is working, which it has over his last 3 events, staying positive in all 3. Keegan has finishes of T2, T12, and T12 with a pair of cuts in between. When he putts well, he finishes high. I am going to trust that he is reading the greens well as he is one of the top players in this field.
