Welcome Golf Fans! The CJ Cup Byron Nelson(Formerly AT&T Byron Nelson) is back for another exciting weekend at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas! This tournament is definitely missing some star fire power, but we still have some great players showing up and we found some nice value for the tournament!

Noren On A Mission

Alex Noren comes in as possibly the hottest player on tour finishing in top 25 in five straight tournaments. He has made the cut in all 9 events in 2024, ranks 4th on the tour in average score with 68.9, and ranks 2nd in greens in regulation. Noren did not play this event last season, but finished T12 in 2022, T21 in 2021, and has finished Top30 in 7 of his 9 events in 2024.

Can KH Do It Again?

KH Lee won this event in back-to-back seasons in 2021 and 2022, and finished T50 last season. KH has been up and down this season, making the cut in 6 of his 11 events, but when he makes the cut, he makes Top 40 position. It’s hard to back a player to win outright when they’ve missed the cut in almost 50% of his events. He loves playing here and I like the value if he makes the cut.

Hubbard Is On Fire

Mark Hubbard has been on a mission this season making the cut in all 11 events. Even more impressive he has made 40 in four straight events. Hubbard ranks 17th on tour in scoring average at 69.6, did not play this event last season, but finished T32 in 2022, and T34 in 2021. He has finished Top 40 in 6 of his 11 events and I absolutely love this value at plus money!

Can Hoge Keep It Going?

Tom Hoge has finished Top 20 in two straight events, looking for his third great event in a row. He has finished Top 40 in 9 of his 12 events and only missed the cut in 1. Last season he finished just outside Top 40 at T43, but in 2022, he finished T17. Hoge has been one of the best putters on the tour this season, ranking 10th in putts at 1.7, and ranks 6th in average score at 69.1. Another plus value play I love if he can keep it going!

Power Loves TPC Craig Ranch

Power has finished T19 in 2023, T17 in 2022, and T9 in 2021, safe to say, he loves this course. He has also made Top 40 in 5 of his 11 events this season and is coming off a great performance at RBC Heritage finishing T12! He has only missed the cut in two events this season. The plus money value we are getting on him, with his history at this course, makes this play a no brainer! All of these odds are from Bet365, as I am currently out of the country in Vietnam on an extended vacation, so I am limited to what odds I can see on what books! Let’s enjoy a great tournament everyone!
