Online casino and sportsbook operator Stake has unveiled Stake Engine, a next-generation Remote Gaming Server (RGS) designed to provide game developers with comprehensive infrastructure, tools, and immediate access to a global audience.

Streamlined Development and Distribution

The platform, which has already been used for Stake's in-house casino content, will now open to third-party developers with a straightforward commercial model: 10% of gross gaming revenue (GGR) paid monthly to creators.

"Whether you're an indie creator or a full-scale studio, Stake Engine offers everything you need to build, deploy, and grow games on your terms," Stake said in its announcement. "Stake Engine has no templates, no restrictions, and no gatekeeping. If it plays well and meets our standards, you can build it, launch it, and own it."

The technology behind Stake Engine powers more than 300 billion bets and serves over 20 million players globally. According to the company, games developed using the platform have generated $3.31 billion in turnover over the past 12 months.

Comprehensive Toolkit

Developers using Stake Engine receive a complete end-to-end development stack, including:

  • Front-end SDK

  • Integrated math engine

  • Balancing toolkit

  • Real-time analytics dashboard

The platform supports rapid development and deployment, with Stake claiming that games can go from concept to live operation in days rather than months. This efficiency stems from eliminating traditional barriers such as building custom infrastructure, negotiating publisher deals, or integrating with legacy systems.

Proven Success Stories

Several studios have already launched successful titles through Stake Engine. In the most recent quarter, three Stake Engine-built games ranked among the platform's top 50 by total bets:

  • Jawsome by Massive Studio (#17)

  • Serpentina (#23)

  • Samurai Dogs Unleashed by Twist (#25)

Other studios utilizing the platform include Titan Games, with developers given creative freedom to build various game types including slots, wheel-based mechanics, card games, and original IPs.

Scalable Infrastructure

Stake's infrastructure is built to handle significant volumes, supporting over one million bets per second and processing approximately 4% of global Bitcoin transactions. This scalability positions the platform to meet the demands of the rapidly growing igaming sector.

"Stake Engine is built for creators, with speed, freedom, and scale baked in," said Brais Pena, Chief Strategy Officer at Easygo, the technology company behind Stake. "We've taken everything we've learned building the world's most popular online casino and packaged it into a platform that removes barriers, unlocks creativity, and delivers scale from day one."

Pena added: "Stake Engine is what happens when the biggest operator in igaming builds for the builders. It's not just a platform. It's our commitment to the next generation of game creators."

With instant deployment capabilities and transparent analytics providing real-time performance data, Stake Engine aims to transform the traditional game development process for the igaming industry.
