3 Sweepstakes Casino With Better RTP Than Chumba

Chumba Casino is arguably the biggest name in the sweepstakes casino industry, but new players can find better (and more frequent) payouts elsewhere.
3 Sweepstakes Casinos With Better RTP Than Chumba
We tested 20+ sweepstakes casinos to determine which offer the best RTP.

R2P (or return to player) is one of the most important aspects to consider when choosing what sweepstakes casino you play on. Every game has it's own return to player, controlled by the game's developer, but ultimately set by the sweepstakes casino you are playing on.

What this means is you can play the same game at two different casinos and have vastly different experiences. The difference is typically subtle, but seasoned gamers will feel the increased line plays (and bonus frequency) within an hour or two.

We compared the R2P for several popular sweepstakes slots across 20+ different social casinos to determine which sites have the best return to player. We tested a wide variety of game formats from a number of different developers including Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Relax Gaming, 3 Oaks, NetEnt, and more.

Find the top 3 options, all of which have a higher return to player than Chumba below. We are displaying each operator with the average R2P across all of the games we reviewed.

1. High 5 Casino (96.3% RTP)

High 5 Casino lead the way in this study, which wasn't a huge surprise as they are promote their product as offering the highest RTP in the industry. If we compare the average RTP to the median rate for the group, High 5 Casino is nearly 2% better.

For those looking for an even higher RTP, consider playing the exclusive games available at High 5, as these offer some of the highest RTP rates available in the industry.

The other thing worth considering when assessing RTP at High 5 Casino is that the diamonds you earn as you play can be redeemed to essentially boost RTP within a game. For example, you are able to redeem diamonds to boost .2 SC spins to .5 SC spins, meaning your return on those spins is boosted by 150%.

2. Wow Vegas (95.8% RTP)

One thing we noticed throughout our testing was that RTP dropped across all of the social casinos for the most popular titles. However, Wow Vegas was particularly impressive in this aspect.

As an example, they offered the best available RTP for Buffalo Power (95.8%) and Zeus Lightning Power Reels (95.5%). These rates hold up favorably to the overall RTP of 95.8%, and Wow Vegas was one of the only sweepstakes casinos to meet their average RTP on these titles.

As a general rule of thumb, if you are looking for games with the best possible RTP, avoid popular titles and highly volatile (jackpot/bonus heavy) games. If you are looking to play popular titles or are looking for games with thrilling bonuses, Wow Vegas is probably your best bet.

3. Spree (95.4% RTP)

Spree was the surprise finisher at #3 overall in this test. As we mentioned in the introduction, RTP is determined by the social casino but varies between game developers.

One thing we love that Spree does is list the RTP for each game developer on the front end of the site. This allows you to filter the lobby by developer to find the best available RTP.

Looking specifically at the games we tested, Spree came in at 95.4%, finishing just higher than the group of casinos that failed to make the cut for this article. While the RTP came in at 95.4%, there were several developers with the entire library of games set between 96.5% and 97% (Spade Gaming for example).

The great thing about Spree making the cut for this list is that most of our readers haven't gotten a chance to check out their site yet, which means you are still eligible for their industry-leading 200% first purchase bonus offer.

What Sweepstakes Casinos Were Included?

Research for this article clearly started with determining the RTP for Chumba Casino, which came in right at 95%, slightly better than the median number for the group. While Chumba is popular enough that they can get away with being a bit stingier, it's disappointing (but not surprising) to see that they don't use their large player pool to the player's advantage.
