Parx to debut Philly’s first non-casino sportsbook - in S. Philly

Parx casino, which just last Thursday officially launched its temporary sports book, will do it again Thursday when it stages a ribbon cutting at its Parx Race and Sports Book at the South Philadelphia Turf Club. (Today and tomorrow is a soft launch from 2-10 pm, open to the public.)

Located at Seventh Street and Packer Avenue in the Stadium District, the newly renovated betting parlor boasts seven live tellers and nine betting kiosks, as well as new TVs throughout the venue and re-designed bar.

Sports betting will be available noon to midnight Monday through Thursday, noon to 2 a.m. Friday 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
