The Tuesday Philly Props - The Return of the Phillies’ Offense

The last thing the Phillies need right now is to face a guy with an ERA under two-and-a- half, but there he is under Tuesday’s Probable Pitchers: Chris Paddack (4-3, 2.40).

But there is good news, such as he has allowed 11 runs (eight earned) over his last 13.1 innings. Eleven runs just happens to be the same number of runs the Phillies have totaled over their last five games (2-0-3-3-3) and the number of runs they scored in a single game just six days ago (11-4 over the Cardinals). So we know they can score runs in bunches, they just haven’t done so since they crossed the Mississippi.

That has to end soon. If not tonight, then tomorrow. If they come back from the West Coast with nary a run and zero wins, the Eagles may have to move their real training camp up to Flag Day.

Let’s go with the Phils pulling a DeSean Jackson and running away from the Padres from the get-go.

Pick: Phillies First to Score ($3/-127)
Pick: Phils First to 2 Runs ($3/-106)
Pick: Phils First to 3 Runs ($3/+118)
Pick: Phils First to 4 Runs ($3/+163)
Pick: Phils First to 5 Runs ($3/+235)
