The Philly Props: Phillies, Hamels, Hoskins, Harper

The Phillies have not scored in the first five innings of either game in Wrigley Field so far this week, and the Cubs have plated only two in that time, so my Monday and Tuesday Overs Through Three and Five Innings were complete busts.

We won’t be doing that Over any time soon. (We may try them again at some points as Unders though.)

Thankfully, we have Cole Hamels to distract us this evening. The Cubs’ lefthander faces his former team for the first time. In so doing, he will complete that task of having faced all 30 Major League clubs (which the Phillies’ Jake Arrieta did Monday).

Since the lineup he will go against does not include all former teammates, he may be more jacked to face the Phillies than most of the Phillies are to face him.

Hopefully, he will be jacked up enough to fan six of them.

And for differing reasons – Bryce Harper seems back to his offensive self; Rhys Hoskins has 0 extra-base hits in 13 games, so he is due – we are jumping back on the H&H Home Run Prop Express. After all, it is Wrigley.

Pick: Cole Hames Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-112)
Pick: Rhys Hoskins Homers ($3/+300)
Pick: Hoskins Homers & Phillies Win ($2/+900)
Pick: Bryce Harper Homers ($3/+400)
Pick: Harpers Homers & Phillies Win ($2/+1000)
