Jason Martinak

Today, we’ll reveal the opening odds and two best bets below for the Premier League matches on Saturday, November 22nd. Let’s get into it!

Chelsea (-220) at Burnley (+600) Saturday 7:30 AM - Draw Odds (+340)

Chelsea will have a chance to temporarily hold 2nd place if they can pull a win off in this game. Burnley currently sit in 17th in the league table and haven’t been great in their return to the Premier League. They have conceded 22 goals in 11 games, and Chelsea will certainly be looking to exploit that. Watch out for some serious offense out of Chelsea in this one.

West Ham (+400) at Bournemouth (-170) Saturday 10:00 AM - Draw Odds (+300)

Bournemouth have been really solid at home this season, winning four of their five league home games. They have also shown some offensive prowess, scoring 2+ goals six times this season. West Ham haven’t been awful this season, but they have really struggled on the road, dropping three out of five. Both of these teams take part in high-scoring games, so this should be a fun one.

Brentford (+270) at Brighton (-110) Saturday 10:00 AM - Draw Odds (+260)

Three of the last five meetings between these sides have ended in a draw, and we may be on a collision course for a similar outcome. Brighton have yet to lose at home this season, with all four of their losses coming on the road. Brentford have managed only one win on the road so far this campaign. They have scored in four of their last five games and have managed a solid start to the season, so this could be a close one.

Sunderland (+260) at Fulham (+105) Saturday 10:00 AM - Draw Odds (+220)

Fulham have been struggling, losing five of their last seven in all competitions. They have allowed at least two goals in four of their last six league games but have at least managed some offense along with their poor defense. Sunderland has been the story of the season so far, currently sitting 4th in the table in their return to the Premier League. Their offense has been hot lately, scoring at least twice in three of their last four games. Sunderland may find some trouble on the road, but their form has been too good to bet against.

Nottingham Forest (+550) at Liverpool (-230) Saturday 10:00 AM - Draw Odds (+360)

Liverpool desperately needed last week’s international break as they have lost four of their last 5 league matches coming into this week. Their defense has allowed 10 goals in that span while only scoring six goals themselves. Forest does enter this match in better form, being unbeaten in their last 3 games across all competitions, but still, a trip to Anfield is never a pretty sight. As bad as Liverpool has been lately, I expect them to get back on track on their home turf this weekend.

Crystal Palace (-110) at Wolves (+290) Saturday 10:00 AM - Draw Odds (+240)

Wolves have still not managed a win in their 11 league games and have only managed two draws in that span. They sit dead last in the standings, and things really aren't looking too bright for them. Palace, on the other hand, has looked solid lately, being unbeaten in its last four matches. This match is historically high scoring, with both sides scoring in five of their last six meetings, with over 3.5 goals in all of their last four.

Manchester City (-105) at Newcastle (+250) Saturday 12:30 PM - Draw Odds (+260)

Newcastle have not lived up to their expectations so far this season as they currently sit in 14th. They have lost three of their last five league games and allowed three goals in their last two losses. Now, they face a Man City team who have absolutely dominated them for a while now. City has won seven of the last 10 matches between these sides and lost only one time in that span. I expect City to keep that streak alive.

Best Bets

Chelsea -1.5 (+120) at Burnley - Chelsea have been catching their stride offensively while Burnley’s defense has looked nearly incompetent, allowing 22 goals in 11 matches this season.

Sunderland (+260) at Fulham - It looks crazy from the odds, but their form tells a different story. Sunderland has been really solid this season offensively, and they should match up well against a leaky Fulham defense. I love these odds.

Man City (-105) at Newcastle - Man City owns Newcastle, basically as simple as it gets. They have won seven of the last 10 meetings and lost just once in that span. Newcastle has been in poor form lately as well, so this will be a tough bounce-back game.
