Today, we’ll reveal the opening odds and two best bets below for the Premier League matches on Saturday, October 25th. Let’s get into it!
Both of these teams have been solid, with Chelsea sitting 5th and Sunderland sitting 7th in the league table. Chelsea has been plagued by injuries this season, but they are still great at home, winning 4 of their 5 games across all competitions.
Sunderland have been impressive since they got promoted this season. However, they haven’t been great on the road, scoring only one goal in 4 games. Chelsea is the better team, even with some key injuries, and I think they will show it.
Newcastle got off to a brutal start this season, but has since begun to turn things around. They have won four of their last six across all competitions, including a 3-0 win over Beneficia in the Champions League. They have also begun to show some offense, scoring twice in four of those six games.
Fulham, on the other hand, is coming into this game on a three-game skid. Fulham swept Newcastle last season, but I think things will be a bit different in this campaign. Expect some high-scoring action with 3 of the last five eclipsing over 2.5 goals.
Man U are coming into this one in what has seemed like their best form in a while. They arrive at home off back-to-back wins over Sunderland and Liverpool, and with three wins in their last 5. They have also seen over 2.5 goals in four of those five games.
Brighton sits one point behind Man U in the table in 10th place, and they have been very solid as well. They have lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions. They also have seen a ton of goals, with seven of their last eight seeing over 2.5 goals. This should be a fun one.
Brentford has been very inconsistent this season. However, they have been solid on their home turf. They have lost just one of their last four home games and have scored in every home game besides one this season.
Liverpool comes in losing 3 straight league games, although they did win their most recent Champions League game, snapping their losing streak. Liverpool are unbeaten in seven of their last 8 against Brentford, so I like their odds. I also don’t see them staying as cold as they’ve been lately. This game should see some goals, but they could all be by Liverpool.
Fulham at Newcastle Over 2.5 Goals (-120) - Fulham hasn’t been great on offense this season, but Newcastle has been a bit weak defensively. I think that we will see each team score, and I’m not expecting a draw.
Brighton at Manchester United (+105) - Man U has seemed to get hot lately, and their offense is the main reason. Brighton haven’t been great defensively, but I think Man U can win the shootout on their home turf.
Liverpool (-145) at Brentford - Liverpool has struggled lately, but I think they will get back in rhythm this weekend. Brentford has been pretty inconsistent with their play, and Liverpool should be able to take advantage of a weak defense.
