Today, we’ll reveal the opening odds and three best bets below for the EPL’s 22nd Matchday schedule. Let's get into it!
Bournemouth has increased their unbeaten streak to 10 games now and is coming off a draw against a tough Chelsea team. Newcastle has also been absolutely on fire.
They currently sit 4th in the league standings and have won their last 9 consecutive games through all leagues and tournaments. This game should be extremely exciting between two red-hot sides.
There isn’t much to overthink in this game. Liverpool has been amazing so far this season. Even coming off consecutive draws, Liverpool has all the momentum in the world.
Brentford hasn’t been bad by any standard and they are coming off of a good draw against Man City. However, it will be tough to take down Liverpool, even at home.
Leicester has been horrible lately. They have struggled on defense especially but also have scored only 2 goals over their last 5 league games.
Fulham hasn’t been amazing but has lost only 1 of their last 5 paired with 3 draws and one win. However, they have scored 8 goals over that 5-game stretch. That may be too much for Leicester to keep up with.
West Ham should be confident coming off of a 3-2 win under their fresh manager Graham Potter.
However, Palace has been playing well recently with just 1 loss in their last 5 league games. I expect this game to be pretty tight and it should be a fun one that comes down to the wire.
Villa has been great as of late, but they have struggled on the road this season, losing 5 of their last 6 in league play on the road. Taking on Arsenal is also always a tough task.
Arsenal has been great at home and solid all around, currently sitting 2nd in the league standings. This should be a fun one, but don’t overthink it.
Both of these teams have been in brutal form. Everton has lost their last 3 and have failed to score a goal.
Tottenham has lost 4 of their last 5 league games as well. The last 4 games played at Everton have ended in draws, so we will see if either of these teams can get a much-needed W.
Neither of these teams has been in particularly good form, but Brighton has certainly been better as of late. Man U has struggled all year, and offense has been their real issue. They have been blanked 3 times in their last 5 league games.
Brighton have not dropped a game in their last 5 league matches but have drawn 4 times. However, they are coming off a win against a bad Ipswich team. This should be an interesting match between two teams who could really use a confidence boost.
Don’t overthink this one. Nottingham Forest has been amazing lately and just took Liverpool to the wire.
Southampton is one of, if not the worst team in the league right now so I think Forest should feel pretty safe at home this weekend.
City has seemed to get back on track slightly and now facing a fairly bad Ipswich team, they should be ready for a confidence boost.
Ipswich has lost 3 of their last 5 league games and has already faced a brutal 4-1 loss against City this season. Expect Man City to show off their star power in this one.
Chelsea has really taken a dip in their performance recently. They have not won a game in their last 5 league matches and managed 3 draws and 2 losses.
However, they should still be seen as a healthy favorite in this game. Wolves have only won once in their last 5 away games and are outclassed in talent in this one.
Newcastle (-155) vs Bournemouth - Newcastle has been on fire recently and has played themselves into a Champions League as of now. They should fare well at home this weekend.
Fulham (-110) at Leicester - Fulham has not been amazing, but Leicester has been plain bad. I think they should be able to outclass a Leicester team that has struggled to score at all.
Tottenham (+145) at Everton - Tottenham has been bad lately, but they have much more talent than Everton. Everton has been equally as bad, so I like the odds for Spurs to get back on track.
