It has been a busy week for the EPL with weekday games on top of a packed weekend of games. Today we will break down the Sunday slate of games and give you the three best bets for the day.
It has been a rough couple of weeks for Man City. They have won just 1 of their last 5 league games and haven’t dealt with such a rough stretch in years it seems. They currently sit in 8th place and it seems like a tall task for them to win for a 5th straight year.
This, however, is a great matchup to get back on track. Leicester has been bad this year and have been outscored 7-0 in their last 2 games. Don’t over think this one. Man City is the far more talented team.
Southampton has been flat-out horrible this season. They have won just 1 game and drew 3 out of their 18 games. They sit in dead last with only 6 points on the season.
Palace hasn’t been great themselves, but they seem to have a good matchup at home against the worst team in the league. Southampton is winless in their last 5 and Palace has one 2 of their last 5. Take their recent for into account.
Forest has been my favorite surprise of the season so far. They currently sit in 3rd place and are the winners of their last 4 games. I love their odds on the road this week against a mediocre Everton squad.
Everton sits in 15th currently, but they have been great at forcing draws. They have 8 draws in the season and have drawn their last 3. However, I think Forest will be able to keep their win streak alive.
It has been a great last 5 weeks for both of these squads. Neither has lost a game and they both sit within the top 10 of the league.
The last few matches between these two teams is evenly split, with both sides sharing two victories apiece with the remaining game ending in a draw. This should be a really fun game between two teams who have been playing great.
Wolves is on a bit of a run over their last 2 games. They beat Leicester and Man U and have not allowed a goal over their last 2 games. However, this game will be a tough task. Tottenham always has a big home field advantage, but they have been really struggling.
They are losers of 4 of their last 5 games including 2 at home. Wolves won their first matchup back in February, we’ll see if they can get it done on the road this time around.
West Ham seems to be crawling their way back to the center of the league. They have won 2 of their last 4 and are undefeated in that stretch. However, Liverpool is a juggernaut.
They have only one loss so far in the year and they are sitting comfortably atop the league. They average 3.06 chances per game compared to West Ham’s 1.39. Expect Liverpool to stay in form, even on the road.
Nottingham Forest +185 at Everton: I absolutely love their odds on the road this week against a mediocre Everton squad. Forest has been great all season, so let’s see them keep rolling.
Bournemouth at Fulham to Draw +255: Both of these teams have been great this season and I think their unbeaten streaks will continue with a draw this weekend.
Mohammed Salah to score at West Ham -115: Salah has once again been on fire this season. He has netted 16 goals in 17 league games so far this season.
