NHL Playoffs Tuesday: San Jose on the edge and St. Louis looks to push them off – it’s game 6 of Sharks v Blues and Dietel picks...

Craig Dietel

Sharks at BLUES
Pick: Sharks

San Jose is on the brink of elimination as they travel to St. Louis in hopes to force a game 7. D Erik Karlsson looks like he is nursing an injury and played minimal minutes in game 5 which was part of the problem but only one piece of the puzzle that was the 5-0 Blues shutout. They kept F Logan Couture quiet which was seemingly impossible and managed to play shut down defense in from of G Martin Jones. The Sharks are definitely beat up, but we still believe they have some of their best hockey in front of them. They won’t go down without a fight tonight which makes us believe a game 7 is inevitable. More often than not when teams get obliterated and embarrassed like that, especially on home ice, they rebound hard in the next game, expect that tonight.
