The NFL season is flying by in the blink of an eye. Week 4 is right around the corner, and teams are already taking shape, with some establishing themselves as legitimate contenders, while others will seemingly be battling for the No. 1 overall pick at the end of the season.
One of those Super Bowl favorites is the Green Bay Packers, who are taking on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football this week. It will be interesting to see how the Packers respond to losing a frustrating game against the Cleveland Browns, and how the Cowboys handle Micah Parsons, facing off against him for the very first time.
This should be an entertaining game, so we’ve dialed up our favorite Underdog player props from it, hoping to end the Sunday slate with a sweep of the board!
Run, don’t walk, to Underdog to take this line before they raise it. We’re surprised Jordan Love’s passing line is so low, because the Cowboys’ passing defense is the worst in the league, allowing nearly 300 yards per game.
Love has looked solid against good defenses (minus last week’s disappointment in the Browns’ game), and he could have a field day in this one. The offensive line is hurt, so that’s certainly a factor in why this line is so low, but we’re confident in his ability to burn America’s team with his arm, especially in the early stages of this game.
The oddsmakers still haven’t adjusted to Matthew Golden and his big-play abilities. He and Love have developed a strong connection, one that’s only going to get better in time.
Golden could become the No. 1 receiver in this offense as long as Christian Watson and Jayden Reed are sidelined, and it’s the perfect week to feast, considering Dallas’ atrocious passing defense. His line might be a lot higher in the coming weeks, so take the discount while you still can!
The Packers are seven-point favorites in this game, which likely indicates that the Cowboys will be in a negative game script. With that in mind, Dak Prescott is going to need to throw the ball early and often to keep up with this explosive Packers offense.
Both Jared Goff and Jayden Daniels flew over this total, and Joe Flacco had 36 passing attempts last week, missing the line by .5. Prescott isn’t afraid to let the ball fly, so we’re confidently taking the over on this total as a result.
