Two rookies lead the way for our best prop bets for Sunday’s Week 3 action. Starting in Green Bay, the Jordan Love roulette will move to Matthew Golden this week against the Browns, where he is due for a breakout game.
In the Chargers’ first true home game at SoFi, expect Omarion Hampton to get some extra touches as Los Angeles will wear Denver down with their enhanced run game.
Starting with the rookie 1st-rounder out of Texas, Matthew Golden hasn’t made a splash just yet in his first season in Green Bay.
While the Packers are comfortably 2-0, I expect Matt LaFleur to start to get Golden involved against a Browns defense that can get to the quarterback in a hurry.
With Joe Flacco on the other side, I’m expecting the Packers to have extra opportunities in this game, and LaFleur is especially good at spreading the ball around in these types of matchups. With a 60+% snap share incoming, I’m betting on Golden to break out this week.
Another rookie 1st-round pick who has yet to break out, Omarion Hampton feels on the verge of becoming a force in this offense.
With Justin Herbert picking apart defenses over the last two weeks, expect more help in coverage in this matchup against the Broncos, especially after this defense was picked apart by Daniel Jones last week.
With the two safeties playing deeper, I’m taking Hampton to get his 15 touches and break away for a few big runs. In their first true home game at SoFi, look for a typical Jim Harbaugh scheme with a lot of runs.
Javonte Williams has been a top-tier running back to open the season with 41 total touches over two weeks. After a near 100-yard performance on the ground against that horrendous Giants defense, expect Chicago’s front to be less forgiving and pounce on Williams early in this game.
They allowed just 23 rush yards to Aaron Jones in the opener, and while they let Gibbs and Montgomery run all over them in Week 2, Javonte and this Cowboys offense might lean towards the pass game more often than not in this matchup.
Williams hasn’t strung together two straight 65+ yard rushing games since Weeks 7 and 8 of the 2023 season.
