The 1-1 Lions travel to Baltimore to take on the 1-1 Ravens in what should become one of the best matchups from this early-season window.

With both these defenses needing some work after Week 1 beatdowns, expect Lamar Jackson to utilize his legs to beat the Detroit defense in the first half, while a rising rookie could find the end zone once again for the away team.

Lamar Jackson (BAL) OVER 42.5 Rushing Yards

Jackson has been every bit of elite during the first two games of the season, scoring 7 TDs and securing the ball with 0 total turnovers. He faces a tough test in this Detroit defense, but in the Ravens' first true test at home, I expect this Ravens offense to get going in a hurry behind Lamar’s legs.

In 8 home games last season, Jackson ran for 40+ yards in 5 of them, and since becoming the Ravens' starter, he has run for 80+ yards once during the first three games of each season. It will be a leg day for Jackson during this primetime heavyweight event.

Isaac TeSlaa (DET) Anytime TD +600

TeSlaa is legit. The Lions should be moving the rookie out of Arkansas into the rotation more after two impressive catches thus far to open the season. The 6’4 wideout that Detroit traded up for is a red zone threat against safeties and corners.

With noted trust from Jared Goff and a snap share that should continue to rise, I would throw some cash on TeSlaa to come down with a touchdown, especially given that this game could turn into a shootout.

Best Bet: OVER 52.5

The last time these two teams faced off, it was a 38-6 Baltimore victory at home. While role pieces are different across the board, the core guys are still there on both sides of the offense, and with fresh legs to open the season, I’m banking on the Lions coming out extremely aggressive on the offensive end.

The Ravens defense played better against Cleveland in Week 2, but after watching them get picked apart by Buffalo in the opener and the Lions similarly against the Packers, this one could be headed towards the 40s for one of these squads.
