We have NFL action tonight! I repeat, we have NFL action tonight! Okay, it’s just the preseason, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be excited for what’s about to go down.
The preseason is an awesome opportunity for fans to watch their favorite teams in action, hoping to see what young players will make an impact on the upcoming season.
We’re certainly excited to see what these games hold and have put our favorite player props together in anticipation of the action. After reviewing Underdog’s slate, here are our best plays from each of tonight’s games!
To be honest, we’re not sure why Laquon Treadwell is even slated to play tonight, let alone still be in the league. Treadwell played two games with the Indianapolis Colts last year but didn’t record any meaningful stats in either of them.
His career hasn’t exactly gone according to plan, but if the Colts think he can be a contributor, they could take their chances with him in the regular season.
Treadwell has already shown what he can do in the NFL, so we’re not expecting him to have any catches tonight, and certainly not to record 20+ yards. Take the under with confidence here.
We know the Cincinnati Bengals want Joe Burrow and the starters to get some time in during the preseason, but it’s crazy to think that he’s going to get much work tonight.
If anything, the Bengals might throw him in for the first series and quickly bring him to the sidelines, especially considering his injury concerns last year.
We will be more inclined to take the over on this line later in the preseason, but for now, we’re fading Burrow, believing he’ll see minimal work.
Sam Darnold isn’t expected to suit up for the Seattle Seahawks tonight, which means we’ll see a healthy amount of Jalen Milroe and Drew Lock.
The Seahawks might want to start the evening with Milroe and see what they have in their rookie, as Lock has gotten plenty of moments in the limelight.
We’re expecting Milroe to take the field for 2-4 series, giving him lots of chances to have 99+ passing yards. This shouldn’t be a difficult line to hit, especially for someone with gun-slinging tendencies like Milroe.
