We’ve found 5 of the best props worth backing on Christmas day, mixing in some value plays and plus-money picks to round out your betting card and deliver some holiday cheer.

Lamar Jackson Over 0.5 Interceptions

  • Player Prop Odds: +105

The potential NFL MVP give up an interception?  You bet!

While Lamar Jackson has been exceptional this season, we won’t deny that, Houston’s defense has a thing for forcing mistakes and capitalizing on them.

The Texans rank 2nd in the NFL with 19 interceptions, and their aggressive secondary isn’t going to let off on the gas just because it’s Christmas. Led by Jalen Pitre and Derek Stingley Jr., this Houston defense thrives on baiting quarterbacks into bad decisions.

Sure, Jackson has thrown just 4 interceptions this season, but he’s been a bit riskier on the road, tossing 3 of those away from M&T Bank Stadium.

Now, combine that with Houston’s ability to disguise coverages and the fact that Jackson may press to make big plays against a strong team, and there’s solid value in Jackson tossing at least one pick at plus money.

Zay Flowers Over 56.5 Receiving Yards

  • Player Prop Odds: -115

The rookie wideout has been a huge offensive weapon for Baltimore, and this matchup plays right into his strengths.

Flowers leads the Ravens in receiving yards with 1,016 and is averaging a staggering 14.3 yards per catch. Houston’s defense has been fairly strong against the pass, ranking 6th in passing yards allowed, but they’ve also struggled to contain speed. That’s where Zay comes into the mix.

Flowers thrive on short-to-intermediate routes where he can make defenders miss. He has quite an ability to turn a 10-yard slant into a 25-yard gain. He’s the perfect prop going against a defense allowing an average of 8.6 yards per catch.

We’re expecting Flowers to dominate on a soft zone defense and rack up yards after the catch. He should have no problem hitting 57+ yards on the night.

Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown

  • Player Prop Odds: -180

We love anytime touchdowns and, despite the juice on this play, we couldn’t pass it up.

Derrick Henry in December is a tradition like no other. While the odds aren’t great, this prop feels like a Christmas gift in the form of free money.

Henry leads the NFL with 13 rushing TDs and remains the Ravens’ primary option in the red zone — right up there with Lamar Jackson himself. However, we’re pretty sure Henry will get the nod to punch it in.

Houston has improved against the run, of course, but they still allow 106.8 rushing yards per game which puts them in the middle of the pack in the NFL at 11th overall.

Henry’s workload in goal-to-go situations is absolutely unmatched. His physical running style wears defenses down late in games and he keeps going.

With Baltimore projected to dominate time of possession throughout the game, Henry will have plenty of opportunities to find the end zone. It’s not a big payout, but if you like money, this one is for you.

C.J. Stroud Under 246.5 Passing Yards

  • Player Prop Odds: -115

C.J. Stroud has had an incredible rookie campaign, but this matchup looks and feels like a tough spot to us.

Baltimore boasts the league’s best run defense and a pass defense that’s struggled at times but is gradually improving each week. There’s no doubt that their defense is going to hone in on the pass. More importantly, Stroud faces a ferocious pass rush led by Roquan Smith and Odafe Oweh.

With John Metchie III out and Houston’s receiving corps lacking any depth, we’re thinking Stroud may struggle to find open targets against Baltimore’s robust secondary.

The Ravens’ ability to control the clock and limit possessions will also keep Stroud’s opportunities in check.

This game might just turn into a grind which would keep Stroud under 247 passing yards.

Nico Collins Over 28.5 Longest Reception

  • Player Prop Odds: -110

Nico Collins has emerged as the Texans’ go-to playmaker. He’s averaging 15.2 yards per catch which is insane.

Despite Baltimore’s overall defensive strength, their secondary has been somewhat vulnerable to big plays throughout the season, allowing the 31st most passing yards per game at 254.87. That makes this prop feel like gold.

Collins has 16 receptions of 20+ yards this season, and his connection with Stroud on deep routes remains one of Houston’s most reliable weapons. With the Ravens’ front 7 likely keying on Joe Mixon and the Texans’ short game, we’re looking for Stroud to take a few shots deep to Collins. It won’t be frequent, but he’ll try to get the surprise on the Ravens secondary.

This prop could easily cash with one well-timed bomb. The odds are decent and it’s primed for a good payout.

The Ravens enter this Christmas evening showdown as the favorites, but the Texans have plenty of playmakers to keep things interesting and get your bet slip popping.

Whether you’re backing an electric Lamar Jackson play or riding with Houston’s Nico Collins for a big catch with plenty of YAC, these props provide a nice mix of value and insight into the game.
