Our best bet on the Seahawks just barely cashed for us yesterday. Seattle lost by three to Minnesota, but we got the ever-so-important +3.5 earlier in the week to get to the pay window.
We also got a nice winner on Thursday Night Football, as the Chargers made a huge comeback against the Broncos. That makes us 29-16 on NFL sides this season. Let's keep the good times rolling!
Welcome to Christmas Week in the NFL, ladies and gentlemen! We've got two best bets on tap for Wednesday, December 25. Good luck, and Merry Christmas!
KC at PIT: 1:00 PM EST
I paid a little more than I would like for the hook, so feel free to wait and see if you can get a better line. I'm going to be traveling for Christmas and won't have time to line shop like I normally would. That said, this is a great bounce-back spot for the Steelers at home.
I get that Pittsburgh looked pretty rough on the road last week against Baltimore. However, I expect the Steelers to get George Pickens back for this Christmas Day game at home. The whole offense looks a lot more explosive with the former Georgia standout on the field.
Kansas City is somehow 14-1, even though they've been outplayed in several games this season. While Andy Reid is a master game planner, I love getting Mike Tomlin as an underdog at home in a bounce-back spot. Give me the Steel Curtain plus the points before Christmas dinner!
Prediction: Chiefs 21 - Steelers 20
BAL at HOU: 4:30 PM EST
I'll take too big of a point spread adjustment for $100, Alex! Are we really going to punish the Texans for losing to the Chiefs? The look-ahead line on this game was Baltimore -3 and my power ratings make this line Baltimore -2. Maybe I'm too high on Houston, but we shall see.
Houston won't be as strong at wideout since Tank Dell is listed as doubtful for this contest. However, Nico Collins always destroys zone coverage and he's looking more and more healthy each week. CJ Stroud should be able to pick apart a Ravens secondary that has underperformed the entire year to this point.
I get that Baltimore's offense is world-class, but Houston's defense matches up pretty well. The Texans' secondary ranks 2nd in yards per pass allowed and Zay Flowers is listed as questionable with a banged-up shoulder. The Ravens may win, but they won't cover.
Prediction: Ravens 24 - Texans 21
