It was a rough Sunday for our NFL best bets, as we wound up going 0-2. The Atlanta Falcons put up a good fight for three quarters against the Vikings, but their defense fell apart in the final stanza. The Arizona Cardinals were once again hurt by two Kyler Murray interceptions in their loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Even with the subpar week, we're still a decent 25-16 on NFL sides this season. The low volume approach has served us well so far. Let's bounce back strong in Week 15 with two early best bets for Sunday, December 15. Good luck, sports betting family!
MIA at HOU: 1:00 PM EST
This Houston squad hasn't been as dominant as they were in 2023, but they're still sitting at 8-5 and have a big lead in the AFC South division. The Texans had to fight tooth and nail to beat the lowly Jaguars on December 1st before enjoying a week off in Week 14.
You guys know I love betting on teams coming off byes just because I don't think the sportsbooks properly account for it in their power ratings. The spot for Miami is much different, as they needed OT to take down a pretty terrible Jets team that was without Sauce Gardner and Breece Hall.
I'll give the Fish credit for winning four of their last five ball games, but their wins over the Jets, Patriots, and Raiders don't really do much for me. The Texans have looked rough in their last two outings, but I expect them to figure some things out coming out of their bye. Let's buy the Texans at a low point while selling an overrated Dolphins squad that's made its hay beating up on bad teams.
GB at SEA: 8:20 PM EST
Sunday Night Football's Week 15 matchup will be a good one, as we get the Green Bay Packers facing off against the Seattle Seahawks. Green Bay is coming off a rough loss to Detroit on Thursday Night Football while Seattle is coming off a nice division win over Arizona.
I get that the Seahawks have won four in a row, but this price looks way too cheap according to my power ratings. Even with giving Seattle an added boost for their excellent home field advantage, I still think this line should be Green Bay -4.5 or so.
Can we really punish Green Bay for losing by three points on the road to arguably the best team in the NFL? I'm betting they'll bounce back strong, especially since they should have Romeo Doubs back in the lineup at wideout. That should make it harder on the Seahawks defense to double team Jayden Reed.
I love the fight that Seattle has shown lately, but this Green Bay team is a huge step up in class for them, even at home. The Packers have played the 8th toughest schedule in the league while the Seahawks have played just the 17th toughest. Give me the Pack at this discounted number!
