The College Football season is finally here! Week 0 was a great teaser last week, but now we’re diving into all of the action, which starts on Thursday night.
There are a ton of fantastic games on the slate this week, and we couldn’t possibly write about each of them. With that said, we’ve taken a look at Underdog’s prop offering from some of the best matchups, picking and choosing our favorites.
We’ll keep the week going with the best props in the battle between Auburn and Baylor. Let’s get into it!
Are we missing something here? This line feels way too high for Jackson Arnold, as he never threw for over 233 yards during the 2024 season.
His ceiling has certainly gone up heading into his junior year at Auburn, but it’s just too early for us to be confident in him, especially in Week 1. Auburn isn’t ranked, at least at the moment, which tells us that its weapons aren’t as strong as some of the elite teams around the country.
We can’t trust Arnold to have a big game, and want to see it to believe it before taking any sort of over. We’re riding the under in this spot until further notice.
We aren’t confident in Arnold, but the same cannot be said for Sawyer Robertson, Baylor’s quarterback. Robertson started the 2024 season slowly, but picked it up as the year went on, finishing the season throwing for 310+ yards in three of his four final games of the season.
The coaching staff trusted him to throw the ball all over the field, and we see no reason to doubt him having a similar role this year.
Look for the senior to start the season with a monster performance, adding a great stat line to his resume to show future potential NFL suitors that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
We’re more than happy to pair Josh Cameron’s receiving yardage total with Robertson’s passing numbers. Cameron was Robertson’s favorite target down the stretch, especially in the final five games of the season.
He had 59+ yards in four of those games, putting up 100+ in three contests. While he doesn’t have a 100-yard ceiling each week, achieving over 54 shouldn’t be a tall task.
Look for this QB-WR duo to start the season with a bang, with both of them smashing their overs!
