Columbia Lions at Yale Bulldogs, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Columbia +15.5 (-110), bet $11 to win $10; under 149.5 (-110), bet $11 to win $10
Columbia is not a good team, and Yale knows that. But because I believe the Bulldogs aren’t as good as they think they are, I suspect they’re going to take the Lions lightly. They're coasting on reputation. Columbia has gone into opposing Ivy League gyms and won before this season; they beat Penn in the Palestra on Jan. 8. They’re capable of playing hard if not well. Columbia’s main problem is scoring; they average a mere 69.5 points per game. I think Yale will coast to a victory that will be closer than it should be and lower-scoring.
