Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hasn’t lost a step from last season, as he’s 2nd in the league with scoring 31.8 points per game. While it might seem a bit unorthodox to fade a player of his caliber, we’re doing just that in this one.
SGA has only had 32+ points in three of his past ten games, and he’s achieved this mark just once in his past five games against the Bucks. Plus, the Thunder are 9.5-point favorites in this one, and if they get ahead early, SGA could see the bench a lot sooner than fans might want.
We don’t normally give out triple-double props, but we felt like it was the right thing to do for Giannis Antetokounmpo in this one. The Bucks are doing whatever they can to stay relevant, and nothing would scream relevance like having their best player put on a clinic against a team like the Thunder.
He’s had triple-doubles in back-to-back games against the Thunder, and if there was ever a time for him to put on a mega-performance, it would be in this one. Don’t bet the house on this one, of course, but it’s certainly worth a sprinkle, or at the very least, a lucrative piece to add to your parlay.
Lu Dort has been nothing short of incredible recently, particularly on the road. He’s hit the over on this line in eight of his past nine away games and has been a positive force for the Thunder.
He’ll never be the superstar of an SGA or Chet Holmgren, but every team needs a glue guy, and Dort provides a lot of value for them in that respect. Look for Dort to keep the hot streak alive in this matchup with the Bucks.
