Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks, 9 pm Eastern
The Pick: Dallas -144, bet $14.40 to win $10
This is it for Dallas. Either they win or turn it back into a series today, or they lose, go down 0-3, and it is essentially over. The bad news: They’re down 0-2. The good news: They’re in front of what is sure to be a raucous home crowd today, they blew a 19-point lead on Friday (which is bad news to be sure, but good news in the sense that they should be tied 1-1 if only, ah, you get it). Golden State had to shoot 79% in the fourth quarter of Game 2 to win - which, truth be told, had as much to do with the Mavericks not guarding as anything else. But (and I may be overdosing on the bright side, here), the Mavs kinda packed it in in that fourth quarter. I can’t see them doing that with their backs against the wall in front of their own fans. I see it going to 2-1 with a huge Game 4 on Tuesday. I’ll pay a little more to get a straight win.
