Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers, 3 pm Eastern
The Pick: Indiana +3 (-106), bet $10.60 to win $10
Since last night’s pick was wiped out by the game’s cancellation, I’m mainly trying to find plays for contests that might actually take place. COVID has made the NBA schedule a minefield. Indiana’s a home underdog against a Chicago team that’s won five in a row. But the Bulls are dealing with a lot more injury/COVID uncertainty than the Pacers are. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, Chicago’s feisty guards, each have ailments that have them on the injury list. The Pacers play tough at home (11-8), and while they lost to the Bulls on Dec. 26, it was in Chicago and they have beaten Chicago this year. So I like them getting points in their own gym.
