NBA Playoffs: Mims shares some prop bets for Warriors v Trail Blazers and Bucks v Raptors

Robert Mims

I thought of 4 prop bets that will make the NBA Playoffs far more interesting as the Warriors face the Trail Blazers and the Bucks square off against the Raptors.

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum against Step Curry and Klay Thompson. Who scores the most in the series?

Giannis Antetokounmpo against Kawhi Leonard. Who scores the most in the series?

The Blazers plus 2 wins against the Warriors. A tie loses half of the wager. So, if the Warriors win the series 4-2 and you bet $100, you get back $50. If the Blazers loses in seven you win. If the Blazers win the series, you win. Since they are a 4 to 1 underdog and the Warriors are 550 favorites, you would have to get a plus price for the bet to have value.

Which team makes the most 3-point shots? The Warriors or the Bucks. This would generate interest in both series Milwaukee averages 13.5 made threes while the Warriors average 13.1. I would set this line at -110 on each side.

Since I thought of these creative bets, I am compelled to select. I would go with Curry and Thompson. My hesitation is if Durant returns after game two. My gut feeling is that they hold him out.

Leonard over Giannis. Leonard will defend him and limit some of his production. No one stops Leonard.

Bucks hit more 3’s than Warriors. My rationale is that this series goes longer.
