Happy Friday, fellow sports bettors! Thursday was just so-so for us on the MLB side of things. We went 1-1 to run our record to 82-78 on the young season. Let's go on a run the rest of the month and get back on the profitable side of the aisle.
The Detroit Tigers let us down against the Cleveland Guardians to spoil what would have been a nice evening. The Motor City Kitties left a ton of runners on, including a dreadful bottom of the 8th inning where they failed to even put the ball in play with the bases loaded. That was a tough loss, but I have to tip my hat to Tanner Bibee, who looked dominant in 7 innings of work against a very good Tigers lineup.
Thankfully, our player props parlay got us to the payout window to limit the damage to just a minor juice loss. Carlos Rodon and Ranger Suarez easily eclipsed the number of Ks we needed. We're pretty much even steven this week at 6-6, so let's cash this strikeout props parlay to get into the green. Best of luck, my friends!

How about an early strikeout props parlay to get our juices flowing on this fantastic Friday morning? MacKenzie Gore has been pretty much untouchable this season for the Nats. The young lefty's K-rate ranks in the 97th percentile in all of baseball, so he's obviously doing something right.
Gore's whiff rate also ranks in the 94th percentile, which isn't all that surprising because his fastball is 2.5 mph fastball than most left-handers in the game. The 26-year-old also gets plenty of extension on all of his pitches, so his 96 mph 4-seamer looks more like 99 or 100.
The Giants have struggled to put the ball in play at times against southpaws. San Fran has the 10-highest K-rate in MLB against lefties, and they'll have 3 guys in the lineup with at least a 25% K-rate. Give me Gore to find at least 6 punchouts in our Nation's Capital to kick off Memorial Day Weekend.
As for Clarke Schmidt, there's not as much to say. We're going to keep fading the AAA lineup of the Colorado Rockies as often as we can. They have the 2nd-highest strikeout rate in MLB against righties, so Schmidt should be able to find his way to at least 5 Ks.
Schmidt's stuff isn't as dynamic as Gore's, but his whiff rate is still very respectable (70th percentile). I don't like that Schmidt relies on his sweeper 24% of the time. Those don't break as much at Coors Field, so that's my main concern with this play. Even still, I think Schmidt can dominate this subpar lineup with his above-average cutter.
