God's Tipster's Thursday Delaware Park Pick: In the 5th, well-seasoned Old Bay looks to sprint away to win

We are back for another EXCITING week of racing from around the U.S. After capping off a HUGE Saratoga meet for with 54/1 shot Nutella Fella in the Grade 1 Hopeful, we’re back for more. We’ve got some time between Saratoga closing and Belmont at Aqueduct opening so we’ll take a trip to Delaware Park for a few races.

We are expecting fast and firm conditions beneath sunny skies and warm temps there. Let’s get to work!

Delaware Park:

Race 5: Old Bay - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 5/2)

Two-year-old maiden claimers sprint 5 1/2 furlongs and Old Bay is the selection based on his 5/2 morning line which will probably look more like 4/5 odds when the race actually goes off here in the U.S. Dismissed first time out at 14/1, Old Bay finished a strong second in a field of six while arguing the pace. Second time out she pressed the pace again and finished second again. Today she adds blinkers and enters this with a bullet workout under her belt and looks like very much the filly to beat.
