Let’s make it an 8 day winning streak as we went 2 for 2 after a scratch in Race 4. In Race 7, Classy Edition stalked Truancy and drew off to a convincing win at an overlaid 5/2. In Race 9 Gabe took them gate to wire in his polytrack debut at 5/1 odds.
From sunny South Florida to cloudy and chilly South Ozone Park, Queens we’re looking at Thursday’s races at Aqueduct! Fast track conditions are expected.
Thursday at Aqueduct:
Race 7: Baby Man - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 3/1)
Baby Man is an odd name for a four year old filly but after connecting with a horse named “Drinking Problem” at 24/1 last week I’m not going to toss out any strange names. This runner actually broke her maiden for us at 15/1 odds and we look for her to win again for us. This time at today’s 1 1/8 mile distance. She’s one of only two runners in this field with wins over the Aqueduct surface and at today’s distance and should be perfectly positioned from her outside post to either stalk the pacesetters or take the early lead herself. Either way she will be tough to run down here.
