Delaware Park:

Race 3: 1st@ 1.20/1 - BEST BET - 2 pts win🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Race 6: 1st@ 1.10/1 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Race 7: 7th@ 15.40/1

It might be springtime but things are starting to heat up. Our day began with a BEST BET win from Regal Realm who made the early lead in Race 3 before briefly being challenged on the turn and once again drawing away to a convincing score. Race 6 shaped up exactly how we mapped it out with Zen Master stalking the early pace of Capt. Candy before assuming command in mid-stretch and leaving no doubt who was best here. In Race 7, our longshot, Reel Well, made his turf debut off a layoff and got a somewhat timid ride from his jockey. Taken near the back early there was some traffic but he appeared to have run and was never really asked for much. Maybe it was a prep off the layoff and we’ll keep an eye out for him next time.

Let’s move our tack on to Belmont Park where we’re expecting cloudy skies with fast and firm track conditions.

Friday at Belmont Park:

Race 9: Jet Set Juliet - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 6/1)

Maiden claimers sprint 6 furlongs on turf in this one as we complete a trifecta of turf sprints today and I’m siding with a layoff runner in Jet Set Juliet. There aren’t many in here that look like true contenders but this one is a half sister to Marvelous Maude who’s finished in the money in all four of her turf starts to date. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez wins with 25% of his runners coming off similar layoffs and 28% of his runners going first time Lasix. Based on her debut, I’m expecting Juliet to be sent hard from the inside to secure early positioning and they’ll have to catch her to cash.

Best of luck to everyone playing Friday’s races from Belmont Park!
