A little absence with the move to Louisville and have been enjoying the warmth.
Gulfstream Race 4 - $60K Maiden Special
3yo fillies going 8.5 furlongs on turf
Although there are some good Breeze Fig choices and others like Ultima Copa (8/5) and Practical Joke’s daughter, Laughing Lass (12/1), getting second starts, I am going with the Vancouver filly Ring Run (9/2) who has scored some excellent works leading into this. Vancouver seems to have better female turf horses than all others.

Gulfstream Race 11 - $60K Maiden Special
3yo fillies going 8.5 furlongs on turf
After seeing her Spa debut this year and following since, I am going with the Group 1 Breeze Fig Pimenova (6/1) who has scratched a couple of times when taken off turf. Gargan/Gaffalione 21% and her works have been solid.

* A BreezeFig™ is a simple number that combines time, stride length, miles per hour and a unique set of power factors for every horse which breezes at least once at a 2-year-old in training sale. Breeze Figs rates the workouts by all horses at 2-year-old-in training sales who are subsequently running at tracks across the country every day. Without BreezeFigs™, a handicapper can only see official breezes posted at racetracks in the past performances. By using BreezeFigs™, the handicapper now has the added advantage of knowing how long the horse has really been in training.
If you’d like to learn a little more about how we come up with BreezeFigs, look at our website by clicking here: www.biodatatrack.com and click on the tab BreezeFigs at the top of the page. In there you will find a link to a major study of how over 17,000 BreezeFigs horses from the sales 2007 through 2013 have succeeded on the racetrack based on Group and stride length. You can also access that study by clicking this link: www.biodatatrack.com/BreezeFigs-Study.pdf.
Happy Hunting!
