Race 8: 10th@ 34.60/1

Our day began with Magny Cours getting shuffled off and never mounting a serious bid in the Saudi Cup as 99/1 shot Emblem Road won the $20 million purse in a shocker.

Race 7: 4th@ 5.10/1

Race 8: 1st@ 0.55/1 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

In Race 7, Captain Bombastic was supposed to get the early lead and would’ve been tough to run down had that happened. Instead, they sent The Sound on a suicide mission setting blazing fractions before tiring. Captain Bombastic fought on gallantly but had to settle for a close 4th. In Race 8, Green Light Go took over soon after the start and won the Stymie without much drama as our second 2 point winner of the afternoon.

Gulfstream Park:

Race 10: 9th@ 59.60/1

Race 11: 8th@ 28.90/1

At Gulfstream we took a shot with Isadorable Aida at nearly 60/1 because she narrowly lost to Applecross two back and that one was 4/1. Well we beat Applecross but that was the only one she beat as she was outrun inside. In Race 11, Paliza was overmatched going first time dirt fading early in the race.

Race 11: 2nd@ 15.00/1

In the Honeybee it was our day’s BEST BET - Secret Oath - stalking the early pace and winning off as MUCH the best and stamping her ticket early to the Kentucky Oaks. In Race 9, Hunt the Front was taken far off the early pace and came with a nice run but it was too little too late as he checked in 5th. In the Rebel Stakes it was Un Ojo juuustt getting up to nip our selection - Ethereal Road - at 15/1 for top honors in a heartbreaking finish for our win bettors.

Let’s take a look at some races from Aqueduct to close out our week and month of February. We’re expecting sunny skies and chilly temperatures with a fast main track.

Sunday pick for Aqueduct :

Race 8: Happy Sophia - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 20/1)

Bombs away to close out the month of February as we look to get Happy Sophia home in the feature race - an Allowance for fillies and mares at 6 1/2 furlongs. Her last few races aren’t anything special but when you realize she was beaten only two lengths last out by runners in here that will be much lower in odds today, the 20/1 morning line looks all the more appealing. Additionally, there are 11 other runners in here that she’s facing and none of them have run a higher speed figure at this 6 1/2 furlong distance than Happy Sophia. She actually owns the top 2 speed figures in this field of 12 at the distance. She should sit the trip and she fits with these.
