Our hot streak has continued from the end of the Saratoga meet to the Belmont meet. We started the day with our selection, Trinni Luck winning in gate-to-wire fashion in her first try at a mile-and-a-sixteenth in Race 3. In Race 5, Soulmate did his best impression of Trinni Luck by going to the lead and leading his competition on a merry chase at 6/1 odds. In Race 7, Momos came within a dirty nose of us going 3 for 3 to start the day at odds of 9/1 after leading from the start. In Race 9, Madame Rose did what she needed to do – got the early lead and scooted away but she worked too hard too early and had nothing left in the tank late and she faded in the drive.
For Saturday’s races we’ll look at races from Belmont Park as well as Churchill Downs. We expect fast and firm conditions at both locations.
