Sometimes, the only way to really figure out a slot is to dump a mountain of coins on it. So that’s what we did. We took 100K in GC and went to some of our favorite casinos to test their most popular slots. We were a little surprised and tracked our progress to see if we could find a standout or a dud in the bunch!

So while spinning through Coin Up, we did fairly well. For a game that is all about the feature play, it’s a straightforward game with tons of boosts available. The main goal of the game is to hit three coins in the center row of the board. The board is only a 3x3 square, so it can be a little tricky to finally hit it, but once you do, you’ll enter the hold and win bonus. You’ll get three spins that reset every time you hit another coin, and after you miss three times in a row, the bonus is over. If you fill the entire board, that will hit you with the Grand, but that’s fairly challenging.
During the feature, there are four different coins you can land. A basic coin will just have a set amount on it. These are by far the most common, but still decent. Then there is the mystery coin. This can be anything from a jackpot, a collect coin, or a basic coin. The collect coin is exactly what it sounds like; it will collect the value of everything on the screen, which can lead to some big wins. Finally, there is the jackpot coin, which will reward the player with a jackpot amount. Tied in with these coins is the mystery jackpot, which will randomly award one to the player. Along with these coins, there is a top reel that will give you bonus rewards on the board. You can land a level-up, which will upgrade the coins on the board to the next highest amount, or a multiplier, which will multiply the coin amount at the end of the feature play. Either way, there are plenty of ways to win on this slot, and after our $100K win run-through, we found ourselves slightly ahead. We ended with $104K and some change after spinning through our spins; it’s not a massive haul, but not negative either. It’s definitely a game worth checking out over at Jefebet.

Now, we’ve talk about Crowns Jewels, the exclusive version of Joker’s Jewels at Crown Coins Casinos, but we’ve never extensively tested it. We’ve had plenty of spins, but never tracked the exact win ratio we got while playing. With a solid 96% RTP rate, we expect to the winnings to be solid, but things didn’t exactly go as planned.
For those of you who don’t know much about Crown’s Jewels, it’s a simple 3 by 5 slot with no crazy features or bonuses. It only has five paylines, but if you hit, the payouts are nice. This is a slot that’s extremely popular because you can wager just a few coins and walk away with a good payout. However, there’s still plenty of risk involved, and we found that out firsthand. After spending our 100K, we were down nearly 60K overall. That’s not the worst, but it’s certainly not the experience we expected from one of the more beloved games at Crown Coins casino. Of course, we didn’t stop there; we decided to wager another 100K, but that session went just as poorly. This slot can burn through coins quickly, just as easily as it can hand them out. It’s still one of the best slots to play if you’re looking to wager larger amounts, but if you want to run a ton of coins through, you might be better off choosing a more forgiving game slot.

This is a classic game at Casino Click. It’s basically your standard hold and win feature game on a three-by-five board. However, this game isn’t all about the feature play. It has one of the most generous normal spins I’ve seen in these bonus-heavy games. At least in our time with it, it felt like every other spin was at least giving us something, which really reduces the cost per spin. You’ll still need the feature player or the scatter bonus to get ahead, but you don’t burn through coins nearly as fast as in some of these other games.
The scatter bonus is one of the most interesting features in this game. If you hit three of them in a single spin, you’ll be rewarded with 8 free spins. These free spins aren’t normal, though. The center three columns merge into a massive reel that only shows one symbol at a time. So, if you hit any matching symbols on the first reel, you’ll win a good amount of coins. The hard part is matching up on the first reel. The hold and win feature is a whole other story. You need to hit at least six moon symbols to trigger it, and we only managed to do that once during our testing. The payout on that run did save our coins, though. We took out 22K coins, putting us in the black, which was pure luck. We ended our session with a nice little 4K gain, although that could have easily slipped away without some bonus luck. Overall, this game is solid for anyone willing to spend a decent number of coins. You don’t fall into huge holes like in some other games where you can only win during the bonus mode. In this game, the bonus is how you get ahead, not just break even — something we really like to see! So, give this one a shot at Casino Click!

On to one of the most popular games over at Mega Frenzy. This game is full of bonus play and some fairly generous paylines. The basic game is played on a four-by-five board, with two different bonus mechanics. The first of these are the scatter bonuses. You have to land at least three of them to hit, and if you do, you’ll get 10 free spins. There isn’t that much more to that bonus, but it can help you stack up the bonus combos. These are the pyramids at the top of the screen.
The pyramids all have different abilities. The first is the collect feature. Activating this will take you directly into the hold and win mode with one collect coin. This coin adds the value of all other coins on the board. You can land up to four of these coins per bonus. Next is the mystery coin, which awards a mysterious jackpot prize that can lead to a big haul with a bit of luck. This is probably the best option. However, the blue Double coin is also solid. This coin doubles the value of all the other coins on the board. You can activate multiple of these bonuses at the same time. Additionally, you can spin six gold coins on a single spin to trigger the hold and win bonus without any boosts. Either way, this game offers a lot to enjoy. And we ended up going up about 2K after all of our spins.
This is a game that most will enjoy and it probably won’t cost much. It’s a slow burn with some excellent top-tier rewards. There are quite a few titles like this over at Mega Frenzy, so consider checking them out.
