The Saturday Philly Props: Basketball

Bob Vetrone

Villanova doesn’t play until Sunday and the Penn-Cornell line hadn’t yet been posted, but we noticed that none of the other Philly basketball teams were big underdogs Saturday. And they were all playing in the afternoon, so they won’t interfere with the Gene Kelly/Donald O’Connor-like shenanigans that may or may not be going on in South Philadelphia Saturday night. (Any one under the age of 50 won’t get that, but that’s not important right now.)

So we decided to delve into a huge five-team parlay. In fact, we decided to delve into two of them . . .

PARLAY 1 -- All To Win ($2/+1341)
Sixers, Temple, La Salle, Saint Joseph’s, Drexel

PARLAY 2 -- All To Cover ($2/+2436)
Sixers (-2)
Temple (-7)
La Salle (2-.5)
Saint Joseph’s (+2.5)
Drexel (-3.5)

That’s a lot of basketball . . . Hopefully, it’s also a lot of winning.
