The Pick: Las Vegas -205, bet $6.12 to win $3
I know, I know, I haven’t played too many expensive moneylines this season. But the price isn’t too severe, and I think the spread is right on where it should be. Las Vegas is the better team but Connecticut is showing so much heart. I think the Aces know they’re in a dogfight with the Sun, so they aren’t going to take them lightly. And I don’t think Vegas is going to take their foot off the gas; they do not want the Sun to steal a game at home. So I think it’s going to be tight. But I do think Las Vegas is ultimately better. So I’ll spend a little more to win a little less, just for tonight.
