Chicago Sky at Connecticut Sun, 8 pm Eastern
The Pick: Connecticut (-110), bet $7.50 to win $6.82
I’m dying with my boots on, here. Sunday’s loss to Chicago can be taken by Connecticut in either of two ways: it was either demoralizing, or proof that they’re just as good, if not better, than the Sky. The Sun pounded Chicago on the boards, out-rebounding the Sky 46-35. This game could’ve gone either way. Throw in the home court advantage, and the fact that this is do-or-die for Connecticut, and I think the Sun push it to Game Five.
Las Vegas Aces at Seattle Storm, 10 pm Eastern
The Pick: Las Vegas +1 (-118), bet $7.50 to win $6.38
Sunday’s game went just how I thought it would, right? (laughs) Hey, a win’s a win, and it is telling that once Las Vegas forced overtime, they pulled away from Seattle. I think they close it out tonight. Look hard, because right now the line is ranging from the Aces to the Storm getting points. I would take Las Vegas giving a point, because I believe they’re the better team and I think they have the mindset to close it out. But if you can find a line where they’re getting points, grab it.
