Minnesota Lynx at Connecticut Sun, 1 pm Eastern
The Pick: Minnesota +8 (-113), bet $5 to win $4.45
Today has all twelve WNBA teams in action, and in each of the six games, I’m going with whoever has more to play for. In this matchup, Minnesota still has a chance to make the playoffs while Connecticut has a slim chance at tying for the top seed. I think the Lynx make more of a go at it and it's a lot of points for what might be Lynx center Sylvia Fowles' last game.
Atlanta Dream at New York Liberty, 2 pm Eastern
The Pick: Atlanta +3.5 (-114), bet $5 to win $4.39
New York clinches a playoff spot with a win. Atlanta can still make the playoffs with a win. I still think the Dream are the better team. I think they fight tooth and nail today. This one's a barnburner.
Indiana Fever at Washington Mystics, 3 pm Eastern
The Pick: Washington -11.5 (-104), bet $5 to win $4.81
Washington has a chance to tie Seattle for the fourth seed; Indiana just wants to go home. The Fever are also missing Kelsey Mitchell due to injury. That’s enough for me to overlook my “getting double digits” guideline. The Mystics are also at home.
Seattle Storm at Las Vegas Aces, 3 pm Eastern
The Pick: Las Vegas -5.5 (-117), bet $5 to win $4.30
Las Vegas clinches the top seed in the playoffs if they win. After the ups and downs of the second half of the season, the Aces are the best team heading into the postseason. Also, they’re at home today. They take care of business.
Chicago Sky at Phoenix Mercury, 5 pm Eastern
The Pick: Chicago -6.5 (-106), bet $5 to win $4.72
Chicago clinches the top seed if they win and Las Vegas loses. Phoenix just shut down guard Skylar Diggins-Smith, Diana Taurasi is out with an injury, and the Mercury have been a trainwreck all season.
Dallas Wings at Los Angeles Sparks, 7 pm Eastern
The Pick: Dallas -4.5 (-105), bet $5 to win $4.76
Actually, neither of these teams really has anything to play for. Dallas is locked into the sixth-seed and Los Angeles has been eliminated entirely. So I’m going with the team that’s better, much better, and still has things to look forward to.
